ActiCom-Active Compounds

The most fruitful basis for the discovery of a new drug is to start with an old drug.

- James Black

ActiCom, active compounds with known activities

ActiCom is a collection of 480 diverse compounds with known activities. All compounds are classified in general therapeutic categories and have assigned reported activities.

ActiCom is resourceful screening set, an assay development guide, and a good complement to any of our general screening collections. Revisiting known active structures is even more momentous now, when investigators are looking for bi-specific therapeutics and when “rediscovery research” is fueling drug repurposing trend.

Compounds comply with screening purity standards. Active molecules are available in dry form or in DMSO solution and can be delivered in 96 or 384 well plates. Compounds are also available individually or in customized subsets.
