Screening Compound Libraries PDF Print E-mail
Our present collection of Stock Structures (US and Abroad) exceeds 100,000 readily available synthetic organic compounds. Additions to our Stock are made on a regular basis. All compounds are available on a cherry-pick basis in vials and/or microtiter plates in the amounts designated by our purchasers.

New Arrivals

There are new compounds that are arriving at TimTec on a regular basis. If you would like to be among the first to be able to select from these groups, please contact us about our Preferred Customer Privileges.

Quality Control and Compound Purity

TimTec determines structure and purity of all compounds by using NMR and mass spectrometry. Our compounds have an average purity of 95%, and the minimum purity is at least 90%. We randomly check the quality of our stock compounds on a regular basis to confirm stability and shelf life. 1H-NMR spectra are available upon request for all stock compounds.

The following compound collections are available:

General Screening

  • Screeening compounds for cherry-picking. Stock library contains >100,000 compounds (2-4 week delivery). European inventory has >1,000,000 compounds (2-4 months delivery).

  • Template-Based
    Groups with common heterocyclic lattices.

  • Targeted
Mechanism based selections. Kinase Modulators, GPCR Ligands, Anti-infectives, Potassium Channel Modulators, and Protease Inhibitors.

  • Privileged Structure
Compounds containing chemical motifs that are more frequently associated with higher biological activity than other structures.

  • Diversity
Compounds pre-selected from available stock with maximum chemical diversity.

  • Natural Products / Natural Product-Derived Over 4,000 pure substances available for immediate testing.

Drug-like Characteristics of Compounds

All of our compounds possess drug-like characteristics. LogP, Molecular weight, number of H-bond donors and acceptors as set forth in the Lipinski "Rule of Five" can help to determine strong candidates for drug-like characteristics.

Lipinski rule of five requirements

  • H-bond donors < 5

  • H-bond acceptors < 10

  • Log P < 5

  • Mol. Weight < 500

1 - compounds which satisfy 1 requirement - 1% of all compounds
2 - compounds which satisfy 2 requirements 2% of all compounds
3 - compounds which satisfy 3 requirements 6% of all compounds
4 - compounds which satisfy all 4 requirements 91% of all compounds
